Challenge
Opterna required a complete revamp of its global website to better represent its expanding product portfolio and international presence. The existing site lacked modern design, consistent performance, and scalability across regions, making it difficult for global teams and customers to access information efficiently. The company needed a robust, secure, and scalable hosting solution—preferably on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)—to ensure high availability and seamless global performance.
In addition, Opterna faced a significant operational challenge: with thousands of products across multiple categories, creating accurate part numbers and configurations had become increasingly complex. Sales and support teams across different regions struggled to quickly identify and quote the right components. To overcome this, Opterna needed a custom web application and product configurator capable of generating precise part numbers based on a structured set of product attributes, simplifying the quotation process and improving internal efficiency.
The Solution
To address Opterna’s global digital needs, we designed and developed a modern, fully customized website that showcases the company’s extensive product portfolio with clarity and consistency. The new site includes a comprehensive backend system that allows Opterna’s internal teams to easily manage product information, specifications, and detailed spec sheets. Built with performance and scalability in mind, the website is hosted on AWS, ensuring fast loading speeds, high availability, and reliable user experiences across all international regions.
To streamline the complex task of identifying and quoting the right products, we also developed a custom product configurator available on both web and mobile. This intuitive tool enables users to search, filter, and configure components based on specific technical requirements, automatically generating accurate part numbers for even the most complex product combinations. The configurator empowers global sales and support teams to quickly create customer-specific solutions, reducing errors and improving operational efficiency across the organization.
